What Arizona homeowners say about us
Before you read up on a new system, hear from neighbors who trusted us with their AC installation.
"Three other companies quoted us in a rush. Mountainside Air actually measured the house and explained the sizing. New system has held 72 through every August afternoon since."
"Used their free second opinion after a chain quoted me double. Honest crew, fair price, and the install was done in a day. Bills are noticeably lower now."
"Family owned and it shows. They answered the phone, showed up on time, and the same owner who quoted us checked the finished install. Highly recommend."
A new AC system sized and installed for Arizona heat.
A proper air conditioner installation is more than swapping a box on the roof. We run a real load calculation for your square footage, ductwork, insulation, and sun exposure, then match you to a high-efficiency system that can actually keep up when it is 115 outside.
Whether you need a full central air conditioner installation or a targeted replacement, our own crews handle the work start to finish. As family owned, veteran owned Arizona HVAC installers, we answer to homeowners, not to private equity sales quotas.
See What It Costs
Built for the way Arizona homes cool
A correctly sized, professionally installed system is the difference between cooling that fights the heat and cooling that wins.
Lower Summer Bills
High-efficiency systems pull far less power than an aging unit, so cooling a Valley home costs less every month.
Cooling That Keeps Up
Right-sized for your home, your new AC holds its setpoint even on the hottest, longest afternoons of the year.
Quiet, Even Comfort
No more hot bedrooms and cold living rooms. A correct install means steady, even temperatures throughout the house.
Workmanship You Trust
Our own family owned, veteran owned crews do every install. The owner stands behind the work, not a call center.
Who installs your AC actually matters
Many Arizona HVAC names look local but answer to out-of-state investors. Here is an honest look at the difference when you choose your installer.
| RECOMMENDED ✓ Mountainside Air Family & Veteran Owned | Private Equity HVAC Chain | |
|---|---|---|
| Who answers your call | ✓A local team that knows the Valley and your job | A national call center routing for volume |
| Who does the install | ✓Our own veteran owned crews, never subbed out | Whichever sub is available that week |
| Pricing approach | ✓Honest, sized to your home, starting at $8,000 | Commission-driven quotes and upsell scripts |
| Free second opinion | ✓Yes, on any AC replacement quote you have | Rarely, and rarely without pressure |
| After the sale | ✓The same owner stands behind the work | Whoever owns the brand this quarter |
From a single bedroom swap to a full central air conditioner installation, you get a straight answer and a fair price. We will tell you if a repair makes more sense than a replacement, because we would rather earn the next job too.
Family owned, veteran owned, and proud of it
Mountainside Air is an Arizona company run by the same family that started it. We are licensed, insured, and accountable to the homeowners we serve, not to outside investors.

AC installation in Arizona, answered
New AC systems start at $8,000 installed. The exact figure depends on the size of system your home needs, the condition of your ductwork, and the efficiency level you choose. We confirm your price in writing after a free in-home estimate, so there are no surprises.
Most standard air conditioner installations are completed in a single day. Larger systems, ductwork changes, or multi-zone homes can run into a second day. We give you a clear timeline before we start.
The right size comes from a load calculation, not a rule of thumb. We measure your square footage, insulation, windows, and sun exposure to size the system correctly. An oversized unit short-cycles and an undersized one never keeps up, so this step matters most in Arizona heat.
Yes. We work with trusted third-party financing partners so you can spread the cost of a new system over time. Ask about current options during your free estimate.
Look for a licensed, insured installer that sizes the system to your home, uses its own crews, and puts pricing in writing. Mountainside Air is family owned and veteran owned, and we are happy to give a free second opinion on any quote you have already received.
If another company has quoted you for a replacement, we will review it at no charge and tell you honestly whether the size, scope, and price make sense. Sometimes a repair is the smarter call, and we will say so.
Yes. Mountainside Air is owned and run by the same Arizona family, and we are veteran owned. We are not backed by private equity, which means our crews answer to homeowners rather than to outside sales targets.
A quality system that is properly sized and installed typically lasts 12 to 15 years in our climate, sometimes longer with regular maintenance. A correct install is the single biggest factor in how long your AC holds up against the heat.
