We experienced an A/C failure the night before we were supposed to leave for vacation. Unfortunately, my 80 year old mother was staying behind so we couldn’t leave until someone came to look at our unit. After calling a few places, we found Mountainside Air and they scheduled a same day appointment for the afternoon. The tech, Josh, was on time, very helpful and while he wasn’t able to fix our 25 year old A/C, he did provide a lot of helpful information to get it fixed or replaced. I will definitely call Mountainside Air again when we have a problem.

Mountainside was fantastic to work with. We called on a Sunday morning, when it was 95F inside and they responded immediately. Due to the extreme heat wave they had to schedule us out one day, but they brought several portable AC units to keep the house livable. The owner, Tom was the one who took the call (again, on a Sunday!) and gave us an immediate, firm quote for both a repair and a new system. Everyone else we spoke to, wanted at least 24 hours to send us an estimate, which, when your home is dangerously hot, those hours are critical.Mountainside's quote was so amazing, it was actually $500 cheaper for us to put in a NEW unit, than it would have been for a REPAIR with any of the 4 other, top-rated companies on Yelp.We now have a new system that has a 10 year warranty, that is working beautifully, keeping our family cool. We also have a phenomenal go-to for our HVAC needs for ourselves, friends and family.

I’ve worked with other AC companies in the past and always felt like they always wanted to up-charge me for repairs that weren’t even needed. Not with Mountainside. I really appreciate their honesty and my AC is working just fine now because of them.

Tom is my new hero! I was recently in a very stressful situation. It was the peak of summer in Phoenix, and I found myself with no air. I have a saltwater fish tank and the animals cannot handle heat. The temperature in my house was rising fast and I feared for my watery friends. A different “emergency” air conditioning company had told me that they were coming for eight straight hours all throughout the night. They strung me along and never came. When I called Mountainside Air out of sheer desperation at 6:30am, Tom immediately answered the phone. Tom was at my house at warp speed and got my air back. He saved my beloved pets. Tom exceeded all expectations. In addition to being extremely accommodating, Tom shared pictures of my a/c issues and was very professional. He took time to explain things very well. The HVAC Tech was very helpful and above all honest. We had been told in the past, by other air companies that we need a new unit all together ($32,000 for both units) or told the system pressure is high it can explode (seriously was told this by a large AC competitor, 😳 that has done most of my plumbing tankless and soft water work), so moved on to give Mountainside a shot, and the Tech showed me the digital readings while testing the equipment, showed me what the readings should be at as documented on the equipment, then pulled out the new part (Capacitor), tested it and showed me it's digital readings that they should be at, installed it, fixed and quieted the system. And to top it off, when I was paying for the service, my license shows I'm a Military Veteran, he gave me 10% off, NO OTHER Air Company has done this. I highly recommend this company for honesty above all!

What an amazing experience! This will be my go to AC team without hesitation. Josh and his assistant came out to the house took time to assess the situation, and explain what was going on. They could have easily fixed what I was initially told by another AC company but Mountainside Air has integrity and didn’t do that.
